Thirty (30) farmers from the Cambucao Farmers Association and Balingasag Farmers Association participated in the training, being the 2020 Swine Production Project beneficiaries affected by the African Swine Fever (ASF) disease that ravaged swine populations in Leyte and other provinces in Region 8. Each FA will receive 480 heads layer chicken, feeds, drugs and biologics for the FY 2021 Layer Production Project.

The training aims to equip farmer–beneficiaries with new knowledge or updates in managing an agro–enterprise via market consolidation and clustering to strengthen the value chain systems for sustainable production of identified commodities.
