To furnish good and comprehensive narrative reports for the recently conducted Rapid Appraisal on Emerging Benefits of the Tuba Consolidation and Marketing Enterprise and Value Chain Assessment on Cardaba Banana for the province of Samar, some of the RPCO 8 RAEB members have actively participated in crafting the final report through a writeshop initiated by the PSO Visayas Cluster held in Cebu City.

 

This five-day activity served as a venue where the findings of the RAEB and Value Chain Assessment will be thoroughly discussed and agreed for the crafting of reports.

 

Participants were grouped per RPCO assisted by key staff from PSO Visayas. As for RPCO 8, the team worked with one of the economists from the PSO in polishing the results for the RAEB. To divide the labor, RPCO 8 representatives split into two groups to work on the two reports.

 

The final RAEB report is expected to be presented to the management and the upcoming 15th World Bank Implementation Support Mission. Meanwhile, the VC Assessment will be submitted to the management fir further use in case of need for updating of the PCIP.

 

The writeshop has also paved way for the M&E, SES, IREAP and InfoACE across the Visayas Cluster to conduct mini coordination meetings to address important issues concerning their respective units.###
