The Department of Agriculture - Regional Field Office 8 (DA-RFO 8) conducted a seminar on business registration and business matching at the DA-RFO 8 Conference Room, Kanhuraw Hill, Tacloban City. It was attended by the regional awardees under the 2022 Young Farmers Challenge to further assist them on the additional grant to be received amounting to ₱150,000.00.

 

Among the resource person were Mr. Romeo Jason Padulla from the Intellectual Property Office in Tacloban City, and Atty. Desiree Cuenco from the Securities and Exchange Commission in Cebu.

 

Mr. Mark T. Durotan, YFCI - Region 8 Chapter President discussed some of the updates and activities planned for the YFC beneficiaries. He also presented some of the support can be availed from government agencies.

 

The Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division (AMAD) with Ms Brenda J. Pepito, AMAD Chief; and, Mr. Francisco D. Ocado, Supervising Agriculturist were present to provide insights and recommendations for the full operation and sustainability of their enterprises. ###
