Eastern Visayas nominee, Ma. Rio Luz A. Majadas of Inangatan Integrated Women Farmers’ Association of Tabango, Leyte, was proclaimed 2nd Runner during the 2022 DA Search for Outstanding Rural Women at the awarding ceremonies held earlier today, December 8, 2022 at the PhilRice, Nueva Ecija.Ms. Majadas received a cash prize of Php 75,000.00. Together with her were DA RFO 8 Assistant Regional Director for Research and Regulations and the concurrent GAD Focal Person,Dir. Elvira Torres and DA RFO 8 GAD Secretariat, Ms. Maria Christina Colasito.
