Northern Samar is home to pili products. To provide a continuous supply of pili planting materials, TAADS-Catubig has maintained the production of planting materials for wide-scale cultivation since it was established in 1980. The varietal selections are successfully done and usually passed NSIC standards. Rice is another crop being planted in this station for varietal improvement.
